Geneva Outpaces Greece Storm

Geneva emerged victorious with a 20-5 win over Greece Storm in a non-league game. Meghan Forbes led the scoring for the Panthers with eight goals and three assists, eighth-grader Mackenna Harris added seven goals, and eighth-grader Allison Marquart scored the first goal of her first varsity career.

Waterloo Secures a Narrow Victory

Waterloo defeated Mynderse-Romulus 11-9 in a competitive Finger Lakes contest. Leading scorers included Maci Mueller with five goals and three assists for Waterloo, and Myah Herron with five goals and an assist for Mynderse-Romulus. Varsity newcomers Olive Ditzell and Kinsley Bree scored their first career goals for Waterloo, and goalie Peyton Lyons recorded 11 saves.

HFL Secures Win Over Gates Chili

Honeoye Falls-Lima triumphed 16-1 over Gates Chili in a Monroe County contest. Shaye Angelo led the way with four goals and five assists. The Cougars received contributions from nine scorers, including eighth-grader Cameron McRae, who scored her first varsity goal. Honeoye Falls-Lima moves to 2-0 on the young season.

Greece Storm Wins One From Gananda-Marion

Greece Storm defeated Gananda-Marion in a non-league game on Thursday. Erica Savage led Greece Storm with seven points, while Ava Torrence had six saves. Gananda-Marion provided no player stats.

Pittsford captured a 13-10 win in its season opener against Spencerport on Thursday night. Spencerport was led by Brooke Endres with six goals, including her 100th career goal, while Ellie Marron recorded 12 saves. Spencerport's record is 1-2.

Canandaigua Secures Victory at Schroeder

Canandaigua defeated Schroeder 9-6 in a Monroe County game, highlighted by Leah Sheridan’s five points and Nola Weaver’s three goals. Schroeder’s Brooke Guelli and Molly Meyer each scored three goals, and Maura Ugine recorded 11 saves.

Irondequoit Wins in Overtime Thriller

Irondequoit defeated Hilton 8-7 in an overtime thriller, with junior Grace Bottiglier scoring the game-winning goal. For Hilton, Lilly Mattucci tallied two goals and two assists, and junior goalkeeper Juliana Turner recorded 10 saves. The Eagles' win was their sixth straight in the series between the two teams.

CNS used a strong third quarter and four-goal performances from Sophia Nesci and Gabrielle Putman to secure a 13-8 win. Fairport's Ella Peers finished with four goals, and Marisa Test had five saves.

Penfield Secures Over HF-L

Penfield defeated HF-L 15-2 in a Monroe County game, led by Peyton Rothfuss with six points and Whitney Reynolds with four goals. Seven Penfield players scored, and goalie Karis Hand recorded seven saves. HF-L`s goals came from Harper Jacob and Shaye Angelo. The Patriots` win marks their sixth consecutive win over HF-L.

Mercy Triumphs Over Hilton

Mercy defeated Hilton in its season opener by a score of 14-8, led by Maeve Shanahan (4g/1a) and Sydney Cook (3g). For Hilton, Jayleigh Esposito scored twice and Juliana Turner recorded six saves.

Aquinas-WOIS Over Newark-Midlakes

Aquinas-WOIS secured a 17-5 win against Newark-Midlakes in their first-ever matchup.  Sophomore Brynn Henry led the Little Irish with six goals and an assist. For the Screaming Eagles, Zoey Overslaugh recorded two goals and an assist, while Daniela Orozco-Aguilar made six saves.

Churchville-Chili defeated Livonia-Avon-Geneseo 16-6 in a lacrosse match on April 4. For the Saints, Shavonne Callahan (3g/5a) celebrated her 50th career goal, and Mikayla Mellenthine had six saves. Lily Rowe led the Lakers with two goals and two assists.

Rush-Henrietta Earns First Win of the Season

Rush-Henrietta defeated Thomas 11-5 in a Monroe County game, earning its first win of the season. Danielle Garrett led the scoring with three goals and three assists, while goalie Taylor Potwin made 11 saves. For the Titans, ninth-grader Carly Fitch and sophomore Brynn Becker scored their first varsity goals. Rush-Henrietta has now won six consecutive matchups against Thomas since 2018.

Irondequoit Secures Victory Over Pal-Mac

Irondequoit defeated Pal-Mac 13-7, pulling away in the second half behind four goals from Revlie Genier and three from Lucy Whipple. Ninth-grader Rylee Conlon scored her first varsity goal. Irondequoit goalies Emma Francis and Mia Conine combined for five saves. For Pal-Mac, Teagan Hudak and Baylee Vilord each scored twice, and Tessa Camelo finished with 10 saves. Irondequoit remains undefeated against Pal-Mac in seven games between the teams since 2015.

Canandaigua Over Orchard Park

Canandaigua earned a 13-9 victory over Orchard Park in a non-league game, improving its record to 2-0. Leah Sheridan led the Gray Wolves` attack with five goals and three assists, while also securing 11 draw controls. Lola Schorr contributed three goals and three assists. Canandaigua recorded 10 assists overall. The Gray Wolves resume play against Spencerport on April 8th.
