Waterloo Secures a Narrow Victory
In a competitive Finger Lakes lacrosse matchup, Waterloo edged Mynderse-Romulus 11-9. The Blue Devils started strong and led at halftime but were outpaced by the Tigers' second-half surge. Maci Mueller led Waterloo with five goals and three assists, and Peyton Lyons recorded 11 saves. Seventh-grader Kinsley Bree added three goals, including the first of her varsity career. Ninth-grader Olive Ditzell also scored her first varsity goal. For the Blue Devils, who remain winless on the season. Myah Herron (5g/1a) and Chelsea Korzeniewski (4g/1a) provided the lion's share of the scoring.
With the win, Waterloo improved its series record against Mynderse-Romulus to seven wins against two losses since 2018.
