Rush-Henrietta Edges Irondequoit
In a tightly-contested Monroe County game on Wednesday, Rush-Henrietta defeated Irondequoit by a score of 10-8. The Royal Comets rallied from an 8-6 deficit in the fourth quarter, scoring the final four goals of the game to earn the victory. The win marked Rush-Henrietta's fifth consecutive triumph over Irondequoit and evened the teams' series history at seven wins apiece.
For the Royal Comets, Danielle Garrett led the scoring with three goals. Riley Brown (2g/1a), Taylee Bernarduci (1g/2a), Briea Schlindwein (2g), and Kate DeWald (1g/1a) also made significant offensive contributions.
