Brighton Defeats Canandaigua in Overtime

Brighton overcame a three-goal deficit in the fourth quarter to send the game into overtime. Nola Weaver (3g) and Lola Schorr (2g/3a) led the scoring for Canandaigua. Aviana Nelson made nine saves in the loss.

Penfield Overwhelms Schroeder

Peyton Rothfuss (3g/4a) and Emma Alexander (3g) led the scoring for Penfield. Maura Ugine had four saves for Schroeder, including the 200th of her career.

The 2025 Tournament Begins

The section 5 girls lacrosse post-season tournament begins Saturday with four first-round games in class B. All first-round and quarterfinal games will be hosted by the higher-seeded team.

Eastridge/BK Over Mynderse-Romulus

Neely Hawn and Ada Krupa each scored five goals for Eastridge/BK. For Mynderse-Romulus, Chelsea Korzeniewski (1g/4a) recorded her 150th career assist, and Myah Herron (3g) won her 200th career draw control.

Marcus Whitman Takes Down Gananda-Marion

Helen Snyder led Marcus Whitman with seven goals and one assist, while surpassing the milestones of 50 goals and 200 draw controls for her career. Aubriella Bowman added five goals in the win.

Wayne Secures Win Over Newark-Midlakes

Isabella Veltre (7g/5a) and Lauren Twist (5g/3a) led the scoring for Wayne. Zoey Overslaugh had four goals and two assists for Newark-Midlakes.

Pal-Mac Defeats Livonia-Avon-Geneseo

With the win, Pal-Mac extended its winning streak to eight games. Brinn Castrechini led all scorers with five goals and three assists. Junior midfielder Teagan Hudak recorded the 300th draw control of her varsity career.

Honeoye Falls-Lima Wins

Shaye Angelo and Harper Jacob combined for nine goals and seven assists in the win. Goalie Ava Torrence recorded nine saves for Greece Storm.

Waterloo Holds Off Geneva

Waterloo overcame a three-goal deficit in the fourth quarter to secure the win. Maci Mueller led Waterloo with six goals and two assists and reached her 400th career point milestone. Waterloo’s goalie, Peyton Lyons, recorded nine saves in the win. Allison Marquart had five goals for Geneva.

Brockport Takes Win

Molly McJury led Brockport with five goals and one assist. Jessica Maher recorded six saves in the win.

Brockport secured an 18-3 victory over Gananda-Marion in a non-league game on Saturday. Kendall Akers (5g) and Molly McJury (4g) led the Brockport attack, while sophomore goalie Jessica Maher made four saves.

Geneva Claims Road Win

Geneva earned its ninth win of the season. Allison Marquart led Geneva with three goals and five assists. Geneva's Maddie Askin had eight saves. Myah Herron had eight goals for Mynderse-Romulus.

Schroeder Earns Win Over Waterloo

Molly Meyer led Schroeder with four goals. For Waterloo, Maci Mueller had two goals and an assist, and Peyton Lyons had 12 saves, including the 200th of her career.

CNS Prevails Over Victor
