Penn Yan Over Corning

Penn Yan overwhelmed Corning (section IV) 15-4 in a non-league game on Tuesday evening. The Mustangs built an 11-1 halftime lead and were never seriously threatened.

Senior midfielder Maihue Miranda-Wiltberger led Penn Yan with three goals, including the 100th of her varsity career. Bailey Cooper also contributed three goals and two assists, while Gianna Voigt had two goals and two assists. In net, Marion Wheeler and Megan Wheeler combined for seven saves.

Penn Yan will enjoy a brief break in its schedule before returning to action against Rush-Henrietta a week from Wednesday.    [ Story and BOX SCORE
