Herring was impressive between the pipes; she finished with seven saves in free play as well a two off of 8m free position shots (58% on the game). Both 8m shots were impressive saves by Herring and she finished off the first half with four straight saves to hold the Titans to only 4 goals in the first half. Nothnagle was equally impressive, but with less statistics to quote. She finished the game with 2 groundballs and 1 caused turnover. However, she was constantly pressuring the Titan offense, or running down a loose ball. Her aggressive play kept the Royal Comet defense up and kept Thomas off the board. As a team, the R-H defense was aggressive, focused and kept constant pressure on the Titans.
