Spencerport Defeats Hilton in MC Matchup

Spencerport defeated Hilton 13-7 in a Monroe County matchup. Brooke Endres led Spencerport’s offense with seven goals and two assists. For Hilton, Charley Barlette and Ryleigh Lent each tallied twice, and Nora Palmer scored her first varsity goal.

Victor Defeats Schroeder

Victor earned an 18-1 victory over Schroeder in their Monroe County matchup on Thursday, extending the Blue Devils' winning streak in the teams' series to 10 games. Eleven Victor players scored goals, including Elizabeth Graney, whose goal was the first of her varsity career. Brooke Guelli scored Schroeder's only goal.

Honeoye Falls-Lima Over Brockport

Honeoye Falls-Lima defeated Brockport 16-0 in a Monroe County game, led by Shaye Angelo's six goals and Sarah McLaughlin's perfect performance in goal. Brockport struggled offensively but received a strong defensive effort from goalie Jessica Maher.

Mercy Claims Victory Over Aquinas-WOIS

Mercy triumphed over Aquinas-WOIS, 18-7, with standout performances from Sydney Cook and Mia Quagrello. Eight Mercy players contributed to the scoring, and goalie Elinor Meyer stopped all five shots she faced in her 24 minutes of play. Savannah Hinchcliffe led Aquinas-WOIS with three goals.

Penfield Outpaces Fairport

Penfield earned a 14-4 victory over Fairport, backed by Peyton Rothfuss's six-point performance. Sophomore goalie Karis Hand had five saves for the Patriots. Fairport's Camryn DuBose led her team with two goals and an assist.

The Red Raiders triumphed over Mynderse-Romulus with a balanced offensive effort and strong goaltending, led by Brinn Castrechini`s six points and Tessa Camelo`s four saves. Myah Herron scored both Blue Devil goals.

Geneva Stays Perfect with Finger Lakes Victory

Geneva defeated Newark-Midlakes 17-6 in a Finger Lakes game on Wednesday, maintaining its perfect 5-0 record. Allison Marquart (4g/5a) and Velia DeMaria (8g) led the scoring for the Panthers, while Zoey Overslaugh (5g) was the leading scorer for Newark-Midlakes.

Brockport Over Marcus Whitman

Brockport earned a 13-3 non-league win against Marcus Whitman, highlighted by four-goal performances from both Kendall Akers and Molly McJury. Goalkeepers Jessica Maher and Hannah Bonczyk combined for six saves. Marcus Whitman`s Abigail Aaron and Keziah Moore each scored her first varsity goal in the loss.

Rush-Henrietta Extends Winning Streak

Rush-Henrietta defeated Hilton 17-5, extending their winning streak against the Cadets to 10. Rush-Henrietta`s standout performances came from Riley Brown (4g/1a), Kate DeWald (4g/2a), and Danielle Garrett (2g/5a). Goalie Taylor Potwin made seven saves for the Royal Comets. For Hilton, Lilly Mattucci scored her 50th career goal.

Waterloo Holds Off Lakers in Tight Contest

[UPDATED] In a closely fought Finger Lakes matchup, Waterloo edged Livonia-Avon-Geneseo 13-12 on Monday evening. Senior midfielder Maci Mueller scored the winning goal and led Waterloo with five goals and five assists, while junior midfielder Bailey Rossignol added four goals and an assist. Sophomore goalie Peyton Lyons was solid in net for the Tigers, registering 13 saves and a 52% save rate. Waterloo remains undefeated with a 3-0 record.

For Livonia-Avon-Geneseo, attackers Lily Rowe (4g/2a) and Maddie Whitford (4g/1a) spearheaded the offense. Junior attacker Kearstin Skelly scored her first varsity goal during the game. Goalie Annabelle Reynolds made seven saves. Livonia-Avon-Geneseo is now 1-2 this season.

The win is Waterloo's first over Livonia-Avon-Geneseo in the teams' fledgling series. On Friday, the Tigers visit Mercy, while the Lakers host Salamanca (section VI).

West Genesee Edges Penn Yan in Close One

Penn Yan (1-2) came up just short in a non-league clash against West Genesee, falling by a score of 10-9. Gianna Voigt and Bailey Cooper led the Mustangs' offense, combining for five goals and two assists. Marion Wheeler recorded nine saves.

Wayne Tops Brockport in Class C Matchup

Wayne triumphed over Brockport by a score of 17-6, led by Isabella Veltre (4g/2a) and Anabelle Ruffell (4g), and by first-time varsity scorers Maddie Schreiber and Aidan Kovach. Kendall Akers led the Blue Devils with three goals.

Geneva Secures Win Against Marcus Whitman

Geneva defeated Marcus Whitman 11-4 in a Finger Lakes matchup. Makenna Harris led Geneva with six goals and an assist. Aubriella Bowman and Helen Snyder scored two goals each for Marcus Whitman. Geneva (4-0) remains undefeated on the season. 

Newark-Midlakes Secures Victory

Newark-Midlakes earned its first win of the season, defeating Gananda-Marion 17-5 in a Finger Lakes game. Ninth-grader Zoey Overslaugh (6g/11dc) led the Screaming Eagles, supported by Thea Lewis, Kendall DeBrock, Brooke Faust, and Jamie Lawson.

Aquinas-WOIS Secures Narrow Victory Over Frontier

Aquinas-WOIS narrowly defeated Frontier 14-13 in a non-league game, led by Savannah Hinchcliffe`s eight goals. Brynn Henry added two goals and three assists, while Lily Bell scored her first varsity goal. The Little Irish built a 10-2 halftime advantage and held on for the win.

Rush-Henrietta Earns First Win of the Season

Rush-Henrietta defeated Thomas 11-5 in a Monroe County game, earning its first win of the season. Danielle Garrett led the scoring with three goals and three assists, while goalie Taylor Potwin made 11 saves. For the Titans, ninth-grader Carly Fitch and sophomore Brynn Becker scored their first varsity goals. Rush-Henrietta has now won six consecutive matchups against Thomas since 2018.

Irondequoit Secures Victory Over Pal-Mac

Irondequoit defeated Pal-Mac 13-7, pulling away in the second half behind four goals from Revlie Genier and three from Lucy Whipple. Ninth-grader Rylee Conlon scored her first varsity goal. Irondequoit goalies Emma Francis and Mia Conine combined for five saves. For Pal-Mac, Teagan Hudak and Baylee Vilord each scored twice, and Tessa Camelo finished with 10 saves. Irondequoit remains undefeated against Pal-Mac in seven games between the teams since 2015.

Canandaigua Over Orchard Park

Canandaigua earned a 13-9 victory over Orchard Park in a non-league game, improving its record to 2-0. Leah Sheridan led the Gray Wolves` attack with five goals and three assists, while also securing 11 draw controls. Lola Schorr contributed three goals and three assists. Canandaigua recorded 10 assists overall. The Gray Wolves resume play against Spencerport on April 8th.

Lancaster Secures Win Over Schroeder

Lancaster defeated Schroeder 6-3 in a non-league match on April 5, maintaining a narrow lead throughout much of the game. Molly Meyer led Schroeder with two goals, supported by one goal from Brooke Guelli. Maura Ugine recorded seven saves. Schroeder resumes its schedule Tuesday with a contest against Pittsford.

CNS used a strong third quarter and four-goal performances from Sophia Nesci and Gabrielle Putman to secure a 13-8 win. Fairport's Ella Peers finished with four goals, and Marisa Test had five saves.

Penfield Secures Over HF-L

Penfield defeated HF-L 15-2 in a Monroe County game, led by Peyton Rothfuss with six points and Whitney Reynolds with four goals. Seven Penfield players scored, and goalie Karis Hand recorded seven saves. HF-L`s goals came from Harper Jacob and Shaye Angelo. The Patriots` win marks their sixth consecutive win over HF-L.
