The 2015 All Greater Rochester list was published at the end of the season and Webster Thomas senior Emily Resnick was named the 2015 Player of the Year by the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle. All told, sixteen players were noted on the list. Leading the charge were players from Churchville Chili, Victor, Pittsford and Irondequoit with two players each.
Entering the 2016 season there have been a number of rule changes made by US Lacrosse (which is endorsed by the National Federation of State High School Associations). Along with a number of minor play changes and equipment changes there are three noteworthy changes for the upcoming season.
