The Patriots shrugged off an early goal by Shaker (II) and coasted to their fifteenth consecutive victory. It was just the second all-time meeting between the two teams; the first, in 2012, also took place in the semifinals of the NYS tournament and was also won by Penfield.
Peyton Rothfuss led the scoring for Penfield (18-3) with four goals and an assist. Avery Fordham added three goals and an assist.
