Wayne Holds Off Waterloo

Wayne edged Waterloo 11-10 in a Finger Lakes game on Wednesday. For the Eagles, it was their first-ever victory against their rivals from Waterloo. Wayne did not submit a statistical report.

For Waterloo, Maci Mueller led the scoring with three goals and four assists. Kinsley Bree, MacKenzie Tam, and Bailey Rossignol each added two goals; for Bailey Rossignol, her first goal of the game was the 50th of her career. Peyton Lyons recorded eight saves.

Wayne is now 8-4, while Waterloo falls to 7-4. The Eagles travel to Geneva to face the Panthers on Friday. The Tigers host Schroeder on Saturday.    [ Story and BOX SCORE
