Cooper`s 500th Point Highlights Busy Day
DAY IN REVIEW: WEDNESDAY - Today's Section V girls lacrosse
action featured nine games and a host of standout individual efforts, headlined by Penn Yan's Bailey Cooper, who netted seven goals and reached the milestone of 500 career points in the Mustangs' 18-10 win over Honeoye Falls-Lima, their 13th victory of the season. Penfield, Livonia-Avon-Geneseo, and Penn Yan each extended winning streaks to seven or more games, while Schroeder, Geneva, Pal-Mac, Canandaigua, Wayne, and Rush-Henrietta all posted comfortable wins behind multi-goal performances from players like Karah Mattiacio, Velia DeMaria, Bailey Vilord, Maci Mueller, Lauren Twist, and Kate DeWald.
