Honeoye Falls-Lima Advances in Class C
Honeoye Falls-Lima won its seventh consecutive game, a 20-6 victory over Lake Shore/Silver Creek (Section VI) in a sub-regional contest Thursday at Williamsville South. Shaye Angelo led the Cougars with five goals; she also won 12 draw controls. Mackinley Buckley, Sarah Smith, and Harper Jacob each scored three goals. Rylee Bennett had one goal and assisted on three others. Emily Lawrence (1g/1a), Jenna Lawrence (2g), Cameron McRae (1g), and Emma Blythe (1g) accounted for the remainder of the Cougars' scoring. In goal, Sarah McLaughlin made seven saves for a 54% save rate in 48 minutes of play.
Next up for the Cougars is a regional matchup against Jamesville-DeWitt (Section III) on Saturday at Christian Brothers Academy in Syracuse. [ Story and BOX SCORE]
