Pal-Mac Advances to Class C Semifinals
No. 1 Pal-Mac overwhelmed No. 8 Newark-Midlakes in a class C quarterfinal matchup on Tuesday, winning 20-1. Twelve players scored for the Red Raiders. Jenna Santelli led the attack with four goals and an assist; her third goal of the game was the 150th of her varsity career. Brinn Castrechini (3g/1a), Lily Boesel (2g/2a), Teagan Hudak (2g/1a), and Ella Bradley (2g) each had multiple goals. Jenna Lindstrom scored her first varsity goal in the game.
Kendall DeBrock had the lone goal for Newark-Midlakes. The Screaming Eagles conclude their season with a record of 2-15.
With the win, the Red Raiders extend their current winning streak to 11 games; they are also undefeated against Newark-Midlakes in eight games dating back to 2018. Pal-Mac will face No. 4 Aquinas-WOIS in a semifinal game on Thursday. [ Story and BOX SCORE]
