R-H Claims Victory Over Queensbury

Rush-Henrietta earned a 15-11 win at home against Queensbury (section II) in a non-league matchup on Saturday. The Royal Comets built an 8-1 first-quarter lead, and although Queensbury cut the deficit to two entering the fourth quarter, the home team was able to prevail. Riley Brown led the scoring for Rush-Henrietta (6-3) with four goals and two assists, while Danielle Garrett contributed three goals and three assists. Isabella Artessa added three goals. Kate DeWald and Danielle Garrett each marked a milestone by scoring her 200th career point.

The Royal Comets now prepare for their next contest at Pittsford on Monday.     [ Story and BOX SCORE
