Opening Day of 2018
The first three games of the season were played today in Section Five. Canandaigua defeated Churchville-Chili 17-4, Aquinas defeated Mynderse-Romulus 11-6 and Livonia defeated Wayne 9-8.
Canandaigua was led in scoring by Megan Hoffman (2g-6a). Kenzie Lupton (4g) and Clancy Rheude (1g-3a) also added to the scoring table. Rheude also led in draw controls with 5. For Churchville-Chili, Meredith Woo scored 2g to lead. Additional stats are HERE.
Mynderse-Romulus was led in scoring by Sadie Bonnetti with 3g-1a. Margaux Eller led her team in draw controls with 5. Additional stats are HERE.
Livonia came back to defeat Wayne after trailing 6-5 at the half. Ellen O'Neil scored 5g-1a to lead the Bulldogs. Lauren Connor added another 3g and led her team in draw controls with 7. Additional stats are HERE.
