Fairport Holds Off Charge by CA
CANANDAIGUA-6 at FAIRPORT-9 - The Red Raiders built a 9-3 lead after three quarters, and then held off a late rally by the Gray Wolves to secure their fifth victory of the season.
Camryn DuBose led the attack for Fairport (5-1) with two goals and four assists. Ellie Miller scored three goals. Brenna Goss and Brinn Castrechini each tallied a pair of goals. Marisa Test made eight saves for a 57% save percentage.
For Canandaigua (5-2), Maci Mueller had three goals and an assist. Keira Gioseffi, Taylor Ennis-Chinn, and Lola Schorr each chipped in a goal. The loss snapped the Gray Wolves' five-game winning streak.
