Honeoye Falls-Lima Advances
No. 3 Honeoye Falls-Lima trounced No. 2 Geneva 21-1 in a class C semifinal game on Thursday. For the Cougars, the win was their fifth in a row, and their sixth straight over Geneva dating back to 2013.
Nine players had goals for Honeoye Falls-Lima, led by Shaye Angelo with six goals and three assists; she also won 14 draw controls. Other key scorers included Harper Jacob (3g/2a), Jenna Lawrence (2g/2a), Cameron McRae (3g), and Sarah Smith (3g/1a).
The Panthers' lone goal came from Velia DeMaria. Goaltenders Maddie Askin and Ella Monson combined for nine saves. Geneva finishes the season with a record of 14-4.
