Aquinas increased their record to 8-0 with a 14-3 win over Gananda. The Little Irish scored 14 straight goals before Gananda scored the final three. 
Fourteen games were played today. HFL defeated Eastridge 18-1 in the largest differential of the day. Marcus Whitman defeating Wayne 12-11 in the closest game of the night. Additional games: Fairport defeated Greece Olympia/Arcadia 16-6, Waterloo defeated Geneva 15-9, Midlakes defeated East Rochester 10-2, Gananda defeated Newark 9-1, Aquinas defeated Nichols 9-5, Victor defeated Gates Chili 16-5, Pal-Mac defeated Penn Yan 12-7, Schroeder defeated Greece Athena/Odyssey 16-3, Brighton defeated Canandaigua 10-6, Irondequoit defeated Brockport 14-7, Pittsford defeated Churchville-Chili 11-2 and Spencerport defeated Thomas 12-8. 
Emily Coykendall was a part of all six first quarter goals in Spencerport's 12-8 win over Webster Thomas. The Rangers led 6-2 at the half and held off the late advance by the Titans. Thomas scored five out of six straight goals near the end of the second half (the final goal of the game was an open net goal for the Rangers).

 This was a short week of games during the School Break Week. Only 18 games were played this week with many teams finding out of Section competition. There were two overtime games this week with CNS defeating Thomas 11-10 (HERE) and Eastridge defeating Wayne 9-8 (HERE). Two more one games included, Hilton over Nichols 7-6 (HERE) and Geneva's over Livonia 11-10 (HERE) which included a GLaxFive report. Geneva Wins First Game of the Season |

 Geneva held off the late advances by Livonia to defeat the Bulldogs 11-10. This is the first win of the season for Geneva (1-4) and the first loss for Livonia (4-1). Kaci Messier was a key player all over the field in Victor’s 16-5 win over Greece Olympia-Arcadia. The Blue Devils led 12-1 going into the second half. Messier finished with 4g-3a, 2 draw controls and 2 groundballs. Messier, who took the majority of the draws, was often instrumental in directing the ball to one of her teammates. Peyton Smith finished with 4g-2a and was named "Five Star Bank Mortgage" Player of the Game. The Braves led 12-10 after an 8m goal from Kenzie Lupton at 1:24 remaining in the game and held off a late advance by the Titans. Full Story |
Wayne Holds Lead over Gates Chili |

Mary Panepento was the driving force for Wayne behind their 14-11 win over Gates Chili. She finished with 6g-1a including the final go ahead goal late in the second half. The Screaming Eagles took an early led to 3-1 before Gates Chili fought back to a 4-4 tie in the first half. Panepento scored again off a free position goal to take a 5-4 lead before the Spartans scored back to back to take their first and only lead of the game.
