Cold Spring Harbor defeated HFL 18-3, CBA defeated Penfield 10-5 and Manhasset defeated Brighton 6-4. This is the fifth time that the Cougars have finished as runner-up, the sixth time that the Barons have finished as runner-up and the second time the Patriots have finished as runner-up. |
# 393 State Semi-Finals Three Section Five Teams advanced to the State Finals tomorrow. After all four teams moved on to the State Semi-Finals, three of the four won today and will play for their respective State Titles tomorrow. In the first game this morning, HFL defeated Brewster 10-9. The second game found Bronxville defeating Pal-Mac 14-5. The third game featured Penfield forcing overtime and defeating North Rockland 9-8. The final game had Brighton defeating John Jay 17-7. |

Rush Henrietta Junior Gabby Garrett scored the game winning goal in the first overtime period to defeat Canandaigua 9-8 and Whitesboro defeated Waterloo 14-13 in overtime. Additional games played tonight were Thomas over Mercy 15-8, Irondequoit over Gates Chili 16-3, Greece Storm over Eastridge 12-4, Penfield over Brighton 13-5 and Fairport over HFL 10-8. Victor travelled to West Genesee to become the third team to face the Wildcats this season; West Genesee defeated Victor 17-3. |
