With seven days left in the regular season, seven games were played tonight.  Two games were decided by two goals with Waterloo defeating Mercy 7-5 and RH defeating HFL 9-7.  Other scores included, Aquinas over Arc/Oly 15-9, Livonia over Gates Chili 16-8, Schroeder over Lancaster 14-9, Marcus Whitman over Midlakes 13-5 and Mynderse over Wayne 15-9.

Marcus Whitman faced off against Gananda for the third time this season.  The first match-up on 4/27 saw the Wildcats win 8-7 in overtime.  The second match-up was a two goal win for Marcus Whitman 7-5.  The Wildcats came in today ready to win even bigger.  They jumped to a 7-1 lead and never looked back.  They will move on to face #2 seeded HFL on Tuesday.

# 113  Thompson Scores Five in Wildcat Win

Emily Thompson scored five goals in Marcus Whitman's 11-8 win over Mynderse.  The Wildcats scored six unanswered goals in the first half to take control of the game and held off the late advance by the Blue Devils.  Thompson scored all five of her goals in the six goals stretch.  The Blue Devils scored five of the last seven to bring the score closer in the end.

# 78  James Scores in Overtime for Marcus Whitman

Cameron James scored her third goal of the night with 1:18 remaining in the first overtime period to give Marcus Whitman the 9-8 win over Wayne.  This is the second time the Eagles have lost in overtime this season.  The game was back and forth with three lead changes.  The Wildcats fought back from a three goal deficit in the second half to take the lead and force Wayne to send the game into overtime.
