There were 12 games played tonight, in one of the biggest night of games so far this season. The closest match-ups were two overtime games: Webster Thomas over Victor 8-7 and Newark-Midlakes over Wayne 7-6. Additional games included: Fairport over Gates-Chili 17-0, Penfield over Greece Storm 14-2, Waterloo over Gananda 16-9, Pal-Mac over Geneva 17-5, Canandaigua over Irondequoit 12-6, HFL over Eastridge 14-3, Spencerport over C-C 15-3, Brighton over Brockport 20-3, RH over Hilton 15-9 and Pittsford over Schroeder 15-4.
Brighton defeated Pittsford 8-6 to remain undefeated at 7-0; the Panthers fell to 7-1. Last night, Aquinas won another to improve to 8-0. Additional games today included, Geneva over Newark 14-10, Marcus Whitman over Gananda 14-5, Wayne over Midlakes 11-9 and Waterloo over Penn Yan 11-7.
Fourteen games were played today. HFL defeated Eastridge 18-1 in the largest differential of the day. Marcus Whitman defeating Wayne 12-11 in the closest game of the night. # 306 All Greater Rochester 2017 The Rochester Democrat and Chronicle announced their 2017 All-Greater Rochester Lacrosse team on Friday. The list features the top sixteen players and a number of honorable mentions were led by HFL senior Caitlin Muir who was named Player of the Year. She finished the season with 64g-30a. She will continue to play next season at Michigan. |
