The Reds led 9-3 at the largest lead, before Livonia scored four of the last five to pull within three. Newark was led in scoring by Caitlin Chopan (3g-1a) and Claire DeBoover (1g-3a). The Reds outshot the Bulldogs 24-15 and although Livonia goalie Emily Carr had a strong game with 9 saves, it was not enough for the Bulldogs. |

This was the first Sectional win in program history for the Eagles. The game was close for most of the first half, before the Eagles began to pull away.
