The Finger Lakes has released their 2018 All League Awards and Final Stadings.  The Nine team division released 15 1st Team Awards, 15 2nd Team Awards and 17 3rd Team Awards.  Additionally, Player of the Year honors were given to the top defenseman, attacker and midfielder.  Waterloo's Andy Lee was named Coach of the Year.

Finger Lakes end of season awards come in with 24 First and 24 Second Team All County Players.  There are also 22 Honorable Mention Players.  In addition there were 2 All Americans and 2 Academic All Americans.  As well as Co-Defensive Players of the Year, a Midfielder of the Year and an Offensive Player of the Year.

# 131  Whitman Defeats Gananda Third Time this Season

Marcus Whitman faced off against Gananda for the third time this season.  The first match-up on 4/27 saw the Wildcats win 8-7 in overtime.  The second match-up was a two goal win for Marcus Whitman 7-5.  The Wildcats came in today ready to win even bigger.  They jumped to a 7-1 lead and never looked back.  They will move on to face #2 seeded HFL on Tuesday.

# 113  Thompson Scores Five in Wildcat Win

Emily Thompson scored five goals in Marcus Whitman's 11-8 win over Mynderse.  The Wildcats scored six unanswered goals in the first half to take control of the game and held off the late advance by the Blue Devils.  Thompson scored all five of her goals in the six goals stretch.  The Blue Devils scored five of the last seven to bring the score closer in the end.
