Brighton scored four of the last five goals to comeback and defeat Fairport 14-13. Fairport junior Britteny Pollack led in scoring with 4g-3a in Fairport's 19-5 win over Mercy. The Red Raiders had 12 different players make their offensive scorebook for the season opener. Junior midfielder Maddie Howe and senior midfielder Megan Konieczny finished with 3g-1a each. She was also demonstrative at the draw; she finished with six draw controls for Fairport. Mercy seventh graded Sami Carey finished with a hand in each of the five Monarch goals (3g-2a).

Junior midfielder Sydney Meagher was also a major factor in the win with 6 draw controls. The Red Raiders won 11/16 draws. |
