The Rochester Democrat and Chronicle announced their 2017 All-Greater Rochester Lacrosse team on Friday. The list features the top sixteen players and a number of honorable mentions were led by HFL senior Caitlin Muir who was named Player of the Year. She finished the season with 64g-30a.  She will continue to play next season at Michigan.

At the conclusion of the Class C Tournament, the All Tournament Team was announced.  The Team consists of the top 13 players in the Class C Tournament this year.  There are 12 regular spots and an MVP spot.

# 233  Brighton Wins Sixth Straight

Brighton scored nine of the first ten goals in their 13-5 win over HFL.  Brighton scored the opening goal, and although the Cougars tied at 1-1, the Barons never trailed.  The first three goals were all scored off the 8m line.  For Brighton, Kathryn Smolensky and Eleanor Burns scored.  Brittany Chamberlain scored the first goal for HFL.

# 187  South Jefferson defeats HFL

Section III team South Jefferson travelled out to Honeoye Falls-Lima to face for the fourth time in the last four years.  South Jefferson won 9-5 over the Cougars.  The Spartans have won the last three years after dropping the first  game to HFL 9-6 in 2014.
