Honeoye Falls-Lima were among the teams posting lopsided victories. Several players stood out individually, including Lucy Whipple (6g/6 draw controls) for Irondequoit, Camryn DuBose (4g/2a) and Brenna Goss (3g/2a) for Fairport, and Zoey Overslaugh (5g/1a) for Newark-Midlakes. The day's best finish came in the Pittsford-Penfield matchup, where Whitney Reynolds converted a free-position shot with two minutes remaining to lift Penfield to a 12-11 victory. Churchville-Chili also continued to own Brockport, making it eight straight wins in that rivalry.

Churchville-Chili routed Mynderse/Romulus/Waterloo 12-5 behind eight combined goals from Shavonne Callahan and Abigail DeVries. Fairport earned its second win, defeating Hilton 10-4, with Brenna Goss and Camryn DuBose each netting three goals.

# 713  Fairport Opens Season with Victory Over Brighton
airport secured a 16-10 win against Brighton in a Monroe County game on Friday night. The Raiders took control early, leading 4-2 after the first quarter and maintaining their edge throughout. Senior midfielder Ella Peers led Fairport with five goals and two assists, achieving a career milestone of 150 goals while Freshman midfielder Camryn Hauber celebrated her first varsity goal. Additional contributions came from Camryn DuBose (three goals - three assists) and Ellie Miller (two goals).

Brighton`s Ireland Mistretta scored five goals, while Alexandra Madison added four goals and one assist. Goalie Lauren Russell made five saves for Brighton in 48 minutes of play.

Fairport extended their lead with consistent scoring each quarter, including a five-goal third. The Bruins made a late push in the fourth, netting four goals, but it wasn't enough to overcome the deficit. Madison Van Gorder, Brenna Goss, Kate Patterson, and Meghan Arserio each recorded a goal for Fairport, while Riley Lawrence chipped in one for Brighton. Fairport's balanced attack and strong midfield play were key to their season-opening victory.
