ewark scored five unanswered goals to turn the tide in their 10-7 win over Livonia.  The Reds led 9-3 at the largest lead, before Livonia scored four of the last five to pull within three.  Newark was led in scoring by Caitlin Chopan (3g-1a) and Claire DeBoover (1g-3a).  The Reds outshot the Bulldogs 24-15 and although Livonia goalie Emily Carr had a strong game with 9 saves, it was not enough for the Bulldogs.

# 291  Wayne Wins First Sectional Game in Program History
ayne scored four of the last five goals to pull away and defeat Newark 9-4.  This was the first Sectional win in program history for the Eagles.  The game was close for most of the first half, before the Eagles began to pull away.  As the second half continued, Newark could not close the gap and Wayne slowly expanded their lead.
