Victor Holds Off Canandaigua

- Victor (8-1) secured a hard-fought 9-7 win over Canandaigua (5-6) in a Monroe County game on Monday night. Holding a slim 6-5 lead at halftime, the Blue Devils scored three unanswered third-quarter goals and held on for the victory. It was Victor's sixth consecutive win.

Allie Pisano led Victor with four goals, while Maia Pronti added two. Camryn Adrid, Morgan Livingston, and Meaghan O'Brien each chipped a goal for the Blue Devils. Junior goalie Mia Finocchario made nine saves for Victor to help secure the win.

For the Gray Wolves, Leah Sheridan had two goals and three assists. Taylor Ennis-Chinn (2g), Nola Weaver (1g), Samantha Lupton (1g), and Alexandra DiSanto (1g) provided the remainder of the scoring.

Both teams resume play Wednesday, with the Blue Devils traveling to Penfield and the Gray Wolves looking to bounce back when they take on Rush-Henrietta.    [ Story and BOX SCORE
