Jordan-Elbridge Secures Win Over Wayne
April 15, 2025 - The Eagles lost their first game of the season when they dropped an 18-9 decision at Jordan-Elbridge (Section VI) in a non-league game on Tuesday morning. The home team received strong performances from Kelsey Brunelle (5g/6a), Brenna Tubbert (6g/1a), and Evelyn Bennett (3g/3a). Goalie Ellie Brim made 10 saves in the win.
Wayne’s attack was led by Isabella Veltre with one goal and four assists, and Madelyn Hillman, who netted three goals. Anabelle Ruffell and Samantha Branner each accounted for two goals and an assist.
The Eagles, whose record falls to 4-1 on the season, look to get back on the winning track when they face Mynderse-Romulus on April 23rd.
