Brockport Over Marcus Whitman
April 9, 2025 - Brockport`s balanced offensive effort carried them to a 13-3 win over Marcus Whitman in a non-league game on Wednesday. Kendall Akers led the Blue Devils with four goals and one assist, while Molly McJury also contributed four goals. Supporting the attack were Allison Cole (1g/2a), Bella Bruno (2g), Samantha Webster (2g), and Delani Crocetta (2a). Brockport's goaltending was solid, with Jessica Maher and Hannah Bonczyk combining for six saves.
For Marcus Whitman, Abigail Aaron and Keziah Moore each celebrated her first varsity goal. Hailee King also scored a goal, and Eliza O'Hora added an assist. Sydney Shaw made 10 saves.
The game marked the first meeting between the two teams. Brockport, now 2-2, will host Honeoye Falls-Lima on Thursday, while Marcus Whitman (1-4) prepares for its next game against Pal-Mac on April 23.
