Waterloo Over Gates Chili in Non-League Game
April 4, 2025 - Waterloo secured its second victory of the season with a strong showing against Gates Chili, winning 15-2 in a non-league game held on Friday at Waterloo. Midfielder Maci Mueller led Waterloo with six goals and two assists. Kinsley Bree (3g/2a), Olive Ditzell (3g), and Bailey Rossignol (2g/2a) were also key offensive contributors. Sophomore Peyton Lyons was stalwart in goal, recording 12 saves for an 86% save rate. Gates Chili, now 0-3 for the season, did not report its team statistics prior to post-time.
Waterloo (2-0) now looks ahead to its upcoming game against Livonia-Avon-Geneseo on Monday. Gates Chili is scheduled to face Wayne next Friday. [ BOX SCORE]
