Lakers Secure Victory in Close Match
March 29, 2025 - In a non-league showdown at Livonia, the Lakers team edged Greece Storm by a final score of 15 to 13. Leading the Lakers’ efforts were junior attacker Lily Rowe, contributing six goals and four assists, and junior midfielder Sidney Clickner with five goals and one assist. Maddie Whitford added two goals and three assists, while Annabelle Reynolds made five saves during her 48 minutes in net. Ninth-graders Peyton Johnson and Lily Rossborough each scored her first varsity goal.
For Greece Storm, senior Erica Savage (1g/5a) reached two significant milestones in her varsity career, recording her 100th assist and 200th draw control. Emma Dioguardi led the team with five goals and ninth-graders Haley Duxbury and Madelyn Lovejoy each scored her first varsity goal.
Both teams showcased emerging talents, and the match highlighted strong performances from standout players on both sides and the beginning of promising seasons for both squads.
