Friday: First Game of the Tournaments a One-Goal Game
May 19, 2023 - DAY IN REVIEW: FRIDAY - The Schroeder at Hilton out bracket game was moved from Saturday to Friday and was and exciting one goal game with the Warriors moving on to the quarterfinals.
SCHROEDER-11 at HILTON-10 - Kylee Race scored the game winner on an 8m goal as the ninth-seeded Warriors held off the eighth-seeded Cadets in the first class B out bracket game. For the Warriors, it was their eighth consecutive win over Hilton dating back to 2013. Makenna Baier, Ava Dossier, Anna Rogers, and Lindsay Ruffalo each scored two goals for Schroeder (5-12); Ava Dossier also recorded nine draw controls. There were no statistics reported from Hilton (4-13) at post time. On Tuesday, Schroeder moves on to play No. 1 seed Canandaigua in a quarterfinal matchup. [ BOX SCORE]
