Blue Devils Roll, Saints Streak Continues

- DAY IN REVIEW: THURSDAY - In Wednesday's action, Brockport's Chloe Van Ornum erupted for six goals to lead the Blue Devils to their fifth straight win over Gananda-Marion, with goalkeeper Jessica Maher reaching the milestone of 300 career saves in the victory; Hannah Plassche also stood out with three goals, two assists, and eight draw controls for Brockport, while Lexi Gallina and Joselyn Marshall accounted for the scoring for the winless Gananda-Marion squad. Churchville-Chili extended its remarkable 16-game winning streak over Gates Chili to improve to 5-3, though neither team reported statistics. Meanwhile, Mercy dropped to 4-4 after falling to South Jefferson, one of the top programs in Section III.
