Penfield Tops HF-L
April 7, 2026 - HONEOYE FALLS-LIMA-7 at PENFIELD-10 - The Cougars hung close but ultimately fell to the defending class A champions. The Patriots have now won the last seven meetings between the teams dating back to 2017. There were no statistics reported from Penfield (1-2) at post time.
For HF-L (2-1), Shaye Angelo had four goals and an assist. Harper Jacob added a goal and also collected a team-high five draw controls. Mackinley Buckley and Emily Lawrence each had a goal as well. Sarah McLaughlin made eight saves, including the 100th of her varsity career.
