HFL Takes Pittsford in Close Battle
May 21, 2025 - Honeoye Falls-Lima secured a narrow 10-9 win over Pittsford in a Monroe County matchup on Wednesday evening. The game was a back-and-forth affair. After the Panthers rallied from a three-goal halftime deficit to take a 9-8 lead after three quarters, the Cougars scored the only two goals of the fourth quarter to seal the win.
Shaye Angelo led the scoring for Honeoye Falls-Lima (10-5) with five goals. Emma Blythe had two goals, and Sarah Smith added a goal and two assists. In goal, Sarah McLaughlin played the full 48 minutes and recorded three saves. Pittsford did not submit a statistical report.
