Marcus Whitman Prevails Over Newark-Midlakes
Marcus Whitman (3-8) scored a 16-10 win over Newark-Midlakes (2-9) in a Finger Lakes matchup at Pal-Mac. Aubriella Bowman led the way for the Wildcats with seven goals and two assists. Keziah Moore, Raegan Weissinger, and Helen Snyder each contributed two goals and one assist. Ninth-grader Eliza O'Hora scored her first varsity goal. Sydney Shaw recorded six saves in the win.
For Newark-Midlakes, Zoey Overslaugh (6g), Sophey Carswell (4g), and Kendall DeBrock (1a) accounted for all the scoring. Maggie Lynch made six saves.
